Performance-Based Method for Obtaining Savings in an Industrial Process
(WO/2001/097008)
Abstract:
A method for obtaining savings in an industrial process (Fig. 1) includes the steps of establishing a performance-based contract between the owner of the industrial process and a contractor (Fig. 1); deriving with a computer a statistical mathematical model that describes a productivity-related parameter for the industrial process (Fig. 1); identifying a modification that will improve the productivity-related parameter (Fig. 1); and implementing the modification (Fig. 1).
Method for Achieving and Verifying Increased Productivity in an Industrial Process
(US/2002/0010563) June 15, 1999
Abstract A method for improving the productivity of an industrial process includes the steps of using a computer to derive a statistical mathematical model that describes a productivity-related parameter, such as energy use, consumables use, or production rate, in terms of a validated set of independent variables. A modification that will improve the productivity of the process is identified and implemented and the model is used to measure the change in the productivity-related parameter caused by the modification.
Conceptual Proposal for an Industrial Development Fund
Abstract The purpose of the fund is to provide a vehicle for bringing together investors seeking a premium return with industrial manufacturing companies that have certain limitations in gaining financing through traditional methods.
